Morning Rituals and Opening Procedures
As an employee at Sacred Garden, my day typically starts bright and early. I arrive at our Albuquerque location around 8:30 AM, ready to prepare for another day of serving our diverse clientele. The first order of business is to ensure our dispensary is clean, organized, and welcoming for our customers.
Inventory Check and Product Knowledge
Before opening, we conduct a thorough inventory check to ensure we have ample stock of our popular products. This includes:
- Various strains of flower
- Edibles
- Concentrates
- Tinctures
- Topicals
We also take this time to familiarize ourselves with any new products or strains that have arrived. Staying informed about our inventory is crucial for providing excellent customer service.
Customer Interactions and Education
Once the doors open at 10 AM, we’re ready to assist our customers. Throughout the day, we engage with a wide range of individuals, from first-time cannabis users to experienced connoisseurs. Our role extends beyond simply selling products; we’re here to educate and guide our customers to find the right products for their needs.
Lunch Break and Team Meetings
Around 1 PM, I take my lunch break. It’s a great opportunity to recharge and catch up with coworkers. Occasionally, we’ll have team meetings during this time to discuss new policies, upcoming promotions, or industry updates.
Afternoon Rush and Closing Procedures
The afternoon often brings a surge of customers, especially as people get off work. We make sure to maintain our friendly and professional demeanor, even during busy periods. As closing time approaches, we begin our end-of-day procedures, which include:
- Final inventory count
- Cleaning and sanitizing the dispensary
- Preparing reports
- Securing all products
Working at Sacred Garden is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a growing industry and to help people discover the benefits of cannabis. Whether we’re serving customers in Santa Fe, Las Cruces, or any of our other locations, each day brings new experiences and the satisfaction of being part of a supportive community.
